BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS

General Terms and Conditions for Online Bookings

BOOKING TERMS RESERVATION AND PAYMENT

  1.  The contract is with Red Sea Horse Diving Hurghada (Neptune Diving).
    
  2.  All prices are quoted in euros and are per person. Diving packages are personal and cannot be shared.
    
  3.  We are responsible for all necessary aspects to ensure that the booked services are provided. The online price is only 
    

available for confirmed bookings with full payment at least 2 days in advance. Upon confirmation of your reservation, which takes place upon full payment of the total amount for services, you will receive a voucher by email with a description of the booked services and the amount paid.

4. Any extras, additional activities, and fees must be paid in cash or via PayPal (5% fee) on site, no later than before departure.

5. Red Sea Horse reserves the right to change prices without prior notice due to changes in local taxes, government fees, etc. Your booking is still valid at the original price if you have paid in advance.

6. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have the necessary requirements to participate in the booked diving activities in accordance with your level, diving license, and the number of dives in your logbook.

We emphasize the following:

a) All persons wishing to book a diving course must check the course requirements before booking. All certified divers who have made a reservation must be in possession of an internationally recognized diving certificate. The diving license must be presented to the diving center at the time of check-in.

b) All divers who have made a reservation must be in good health according to the standard medical self-assessment form or, in the case of a specific situation or medical history, the diver must present a medical certificate to the dive center that is no more than 12 months old confirming their fitness to dive.

c) When checking in at the dive center, you will be asked to fill out a medical questionnaire (which you can also download from the website). If you answer “Yes” to any question on the first page, you must mark “No” in the corresponding box, otherwise you will be asked to consult a diving specialist to ensure that you are fit to dive. The medical examination (for a fee) will be carried out by a specialist doctor. If you do not provide a medical form from your doctor (if applicable), you will not be able to participate in diving activities or diving courses. Your payment will be refunded with a 10% cancellation fee from your online booking.

CHANGES OR CANCELLATIONS

Changes/cancellations by the customer:

1. If you need to change your booking, we will do our best to accommodate the changes with sufficient notice (24 hours in advance). In cases where it is impossible to reach the destination for “reasons that are unforeseeable” (for any reason that is in no way foreseeable and not previously known to the holders of the booking), we will agree to a change in the reservation, provided that all conditions of the booked services are met. For a request for a “transfer service,” we must be notified at least 2 days in advance.

2. If you need to cancel your booking before arrival, please inform us by email: info@redseahorse.net or by WhatsApp: +49 173 2799721. We will refund your payment minus any cancellation fees and/or bank charges/PayPal fees.

3. We kindly ask you to inform us within 24 hours before the first booked day of any changes to flight details that could lead to a change in your reservation. If the participant decides to cancel the booked activities without a valid reason, we will not guarantee a refund for unused services.

Cancellation policy:

DIVING In case of cancellation during the last 3 days before the start of the booked services, a fee of 25% of the total amount of the reservation will be charged. In case of cancellation between 14 and 5 days before the start of the booked services, a fee of 10% of the total amount of the reservation will be charged.

E-LEARNING

  • Fees for e-learning are non-refundable

ACCOMMODATION AND EXCURSIONS • In case of cancellation of accommodation and excursions booked through Red Sea Horse and cancelled up to 3 days before the start of the trip, a fee of 50% of the total amount will be charged. • In case of cancellation up to 24 hours before departure or a 'no show', a fee of 100% will be charged (no refund possible)

Changes/cancellations by Red Sea Horse:

In the event that it is impossible to provide the booked services due to unforeseeable circumstances (a situation or circumstances beyond our control, such as bad weather, strikes, war, terrorist events, natural disasters, etc.), or if the minimum number of participants required for trips is not reached, Red Sea Horse will implement the following procedure in the following order:

a) Provision of an alternative service comparable in terms of facilities and price, if available

b) We will provide the service and refund the price difference

c) We will refund the full amount

GENERAL TERMS Red Sea Horse strongly recommends that you start your diving vacation with a refresher dive if you have not dived for a while, in order to ensure maximum safety and enjoyment. If your last dive was a long time ago (6 to 12 months), this will give you the opportunity to familiarize yourself with the special environmental conditions. Diving insurance is mandatory. A copy of your diving insurance should be presented at check-in.

WEATHER / SEA: In the event of bad weather or in the event of danger leading to the cancellation of an activity, we will not accept responsibility for the interruption of the booked diving. We will do our best to ensure that your inconvenience is minimized in this case.

ACCURACY OF THE INFORMATION PUBLISHED: We usually carry out strict checks on the information provided in our brochures and information material to ensure that it is as up to date as possible. However, there are some situations in which the information we provide is not correct due to special local circumstances such as weather conditions, religious festivals, meetings of statesmen, and unexpected events, etc. All cases may be due to unavoidable disruptions that may lead to changes in the information provided. If we notice any changes in the medium or long term, we will do our best to inform you of these new conditions before your arrival. We are constantly working to keep our advertising up to date, but if you notice that something needs to be changed, please let us know so that we can act quickly.

DISCLAIMER FOR DIVING: RedSeaHorse accepts no liability for damage, injury, or other possible negative consequences arising in connection with participation in diving. Participants dive at their own risk and are responsible for their own health and safety and for complying with all applicable laws and regulations. Participants must be adequately insured to cover themselves against any kind of damage or injury. Red Sea Horse accepts no liability for the loss or damage of personal belongings during diving. Participants should keep all important documents and items safe and make copies if necessary. It should be noted that diving is a physically demanding activity and that it involves health risks. By booking, participants declare their agreement with this disclaimer.

INSURANCE Each diver must have their own health/accident insurance for underwater activities.

BEHAVIOR In the event that you, as a guest, display behavior that is detrimental to Red Sea Horse or the peace and well-being of other divers, we reserve the right to refuse the booked services and terminate them with immediate effect. In such a situation, there would also be no refund. We also reserve the right to refuse diving or cancel at any time if it becomes apparent that you do not respect the environment or the rules.

COMPLAINTS: If you wish to file a complaint during your vacation, we recommend that you contact the owner as soon as possible so that he can try to resolve the issue in a timely and effective manner. If the problem remains unresolved during your vacation, please send a written complaint to info@redseahorse.net. We will respond to you within 7 business days by email.

RED SEA HORSE'S COMMITMENT TO YOU: If it is determined that any of the services are not in accordance with the information in our brochure or are not of an adequate standard, we will take responsibility if this situation was caused by our fault. We are not liable for death, injury, or damage if it was not caused by our fault, the fault of one of our representatives or suppliers, or our staff, and/or failure to comply with safety standards by our regular staff. We are not liable for death, injury or damage due to unforeseen circumstances if these could not be avoided despite all due care.
