The PADI Open Water Diver course is designed to be flexible and accessible so that you can progress at your own pace. We provide a relaxed and supportive learning environment so you feel comfortable and safe as you develop your diving skills.
If you are already learning at home, the Open Water Diver can be learnt in 3 days. If you choose to learn on the boat, the duration is 4 days!
After completing the course, you will receive your PADI Open Water Diver certificate, which is valid worldwide for life and entitles you to dive anywhere in the world to a maximum depth of 18 metres and explore the wonders of the underwater world.

Learning on the boat or PADI E-Learning:
The theory of diving: learn on the boat or with PADI eLearning Before you dive, it is important to have a good understanding of diving theory. At Red Sea Horse, you can learn this either in the traditional way on board or flexibly via PADI eLearning.
Learning on the boat
For anyone who enjoys learning in a group and values direct contact with the diving instructor, lessons on board are ideal: our diving instructors teach the course content in a relaxed atmosphere, which you can then put into practice straight away in the water.
PADI E-Learning
PADI E-Learning is ideal for anyone who wants to learn flexibly and conveniently: you complete the theory online at your own pace and then come on board with us to practise in the water and take the final exam.
