The Introductory Diving Programme has been designed for people who would like to try diving but are not yet ready to commit to a full certification course. It offers a quick, easy and enjoyable introduction to the basics of diving. You’ll learn how the equipment works, how to breathe underwater and how to move safely beneath the surface – all under the supervision of a certified German-speaking instructor.

In the open waters off Sakhwa Abu Galawa, with a bit of luck you might even spot dolphins. Dive in and explore this fascinating ecosystem, which offers you unique insights into the underwater world.

Hamda – Stone Beach

Stone Beach, also known as Hamda, captivates visitors not only with its stunning underwater world – the anchorage itself has a charm all of its own. With its sandbanks and the crystal-clear, turquoise waters stretching out before them, it offers a breathtaking backdrop. At midday, whilst enjoying a relaxing nap, you can even hear the eagles calling – a breathtaking natural spectacle. Directly beneath the boat’s line, a huge salad coral awaits you on a gently sloping hard coral plateau. Along the reef edge, there are impressive coral formations and a wide variety of marine life. Here you’ll encounter free-swimming moray eels, schools of blue fusiliers, mackerel, barracudas, Napoleon wrasse, the cute pufferfish with their big eyes, as well as butterflyfish and surgeonfish. With a bit of luck, you might even spot a turtle that calls this place home. A drift snorkelling session can also be arranged here for advanced snorkellers.
