PADI Advanced Open Water Diver (AOWD)
The AOWD course comprises five adventure dives, including the compulsory navigation and deep diving modules. In deep diving, you will learn how to plan dives safely and master the challenges of greater depths. In the navigation course, you will refine your compass technique and use fin cycles, natural landmarks and time for orientation.
The AOWD authorises you to dive to 30m. If you want to go to the recreational diving depth limit of 40 metres, you need the deep diving specialty.

Learning on the boat or PADI E-Learning:
The theory of diving: learn on the boat or with PADI eLearning Before you dive, it is important to have a good understanding of diving theory. At Red Sea Horse, you can learn this either in the traditional way on board or flexibly via PADI eLearning.
Learning on the boat
For anyone who enjoys learning in a group and values direct contact with the diving instructor, lessons on board are ideal: our diving instructors teach the course content in a relaxed atmosphere, which you can then put into practice straight away in the water.
PADI E-Learning
PADI E-Learning is ideal for anyone who wants to learn flexibly and conveniently: you complete the theory online at your own pace and then come on board with us to practise in the water and take the final exam.
